Hello Stitchy Friends!

It is with glee that I report Shores of Hawks Run Hollow is finished!  I finished it Thursday evening.  I will wait to share a photo of the finished work after I manage to get it pressed.

It is my plan to take it to the cross stitch shop in Clinton, where I had Christmas at Hawks Run Hollow framed as well as Village at Hawks Run Hollow.  I am hoping to frame it to match the others.  I haven't decided where I am going to hang it yet.

I am making progress on my recuperation.  I went back to work this week.  Tuesday night, I was wondering if this was a good decision or not, as I was pretty tired.  But, it got easier as the week went on.  However, I was pretty happy that it was Friday yesterday.  I was ready for a couple days off.

I also made strides this week by going upstairs to our bedroom to sleep instead of booting our son out of his bedroom on our main floor.  There is nothing like sleeping in your own bed.  So, all in all, progress is being made.

I will be glad once I am back to 'normal' and can accomplish more tasks around the house on my own.  Mike and Holly continue to be taking up the slack around here, for which I'm very thankful.

I've been enjoying some good books lately.  I recently finished Island Apart by Steven Raichlen.  It was a sweet summer story.

As far as stitching goes, I started stitching Ida Crow by Good Huswife.  It is going to be a fun stitch that shouldn't take too long.  Thanks to a dear stitching friend for generously loaning me her chart. :)
I will post a photo when finished.  Here is a photo of the chart.
I am planning to stitch her partner Ira next.  Thanks so much, for sharing your charts, Carol.  I will be returning them before long.

Hope this finds you all enjoying some relaxation and stitching time this weekend!
