Christmas is past

Hello stitchy friends...I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. We had a very nice day at home. We did our traditional breakfast of egg casserole and homemade cinnamon rolls...yum. Our son brought his girlfriend to join us. We all opened presents together in the morning. Santa was generous to all. I was especially surprised to unwrap an iPad! I am experimenting with my first post from it this evening.

I started Winter Wonderland from LHN recently. It is coming along, then I've had some extra time for reading since I don't go back to work until Thursday....nice! We have been experiencing mild temperatures here for this time of year...and no snow yet. This is pretty unusual for Illinois in December.

I was going to include a picture of stitching progress but am still learning how to do this from the iPad. Hopefully I will figure it out for next time.

Happy stitching!

  2. Congratulations on your iPad! I can appreciate your learning curve since I have one of my own. My husband gave me a Samsung Android tablet so I can keep up with my blog and e-mails while travelling. I have bookmarked the blog on the tablet but haven't posted from it yet. I am checking out how to download a few apps I want and how to download some stitcing photos from my PC to my tablet. I have been using a soft tipped stylus instead of my fingers ... Lord, the fingerprints! And I am a stitcher who washes her hands at least a dozen times a day.

  4. I'm very behind the times when it comes to things like iPads - I'm not even sure what one is, but it sounds like fun. :)
    Enjoy your time off.
